As an Accounts Senior, you will work closely with a diverse client portfolio, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. You'll be involved in accounts preparation, tax compliance, and providing valuable insights to clients. The firm prides itself on delivering a high-quality service while fostering a collaborative and friendly working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accounts for a range of businesses, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP.
- Prepare tax computations and support tax compliance services.
- Work with cloud-based accounting software, including Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
- Build strong client relationships, offering advice on financial and business procedures.
- Assist in mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Manage and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines efficiently.
What the client is looking for:
- AAT qualified and/or ACA/ACCA part-qualified, with a strong background in practice.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience within an accountancy practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to client service.
- Experience mentoring junior staff is desirable.
