Accounts & Audit Senior - Corporate ServicesBury St Edmunds, Suffolk | Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

Are you a newly qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA accountant looking to take that next step?We're working with a well-established accountancy firm who are looking for an Accounts & Audit Senior to join their Corporate Services team in Bury St Edmunds. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a strong mix of audit and accounts work, along with a supportive and flexible working culture.

What you'll be doing:This is a varied position with approximately 60% audit and 40% accounts/tax work. You'll be working with a range of clients, typically with turnover between £5m and £15m+, across a mix of industries.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading audits from planning through to completion

  • Preparing year-end accounts and tax compliance work

  • Acting as the on-site in-charge, guiding junior team members and liaising with clients

  • Building strong working relationships with clients and your internal team

What you'll need:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified, nearly qualified, or part-qualified with relevant experience

  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work both independently and as part of a team

  • A detail-focused, motivated approach and the ability to handle deadlines

  • Previous audit experience is ideal, but not essential - full training can be provided

  • Experience working with junior team members is a plus
