NXTGEN is excited to be partnering with a reputable Top 50 Accountancy firm to recruit an Audit Senior for their office in Bury St Edmunds. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver audit assignments for a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors.
  • Plan, execute, and finalise audits, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Mentor and supervise junior team members, providing guidance and support for their development.
  • Review financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve client processes and provide strategic recommendations.

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified, with strong audit experience.
  • Previous experience in an accountancy practice, with a solid understanding of audit processes.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with clients.
  • Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
