As the candidate trains and progresses they will cover all aspects of client jobs from start to finish. The successful candidate will be an ambitious, customer focused individual who enjoys using cloud-based software to give their clients the right information to run their businesses.

Duties (include but are not limited to)

  • Managing the accounts for a portfolio of clients- once training progresses
  • Drafting statutory accounts and sole trader accounts for manager review
  • Completing / submitting VAT returns
  • Drafting company and personal tax returns for clients
  • Building effective, transparent working relationships with clients
  • Providing ongoing support and advice to clients, to go the extra mile

Person Specification

  • 1 - 2 years into an AAT qualification (or similar)
  • Experience working within an accountancy practice essential
  • XERO experience essential
  • FreeAgent experience preferred
  • Customer focused with a can-do attitude
  • Individual looking for a job where they will learn all aspects of dealing with a clients affairs to become a rounded accounts and tax adviser
