Robert Half Cambridge is delighted to be exclusively partnered with a dynamic business based in Bury St Edmunds who are seeking a new Accounts Assistant to join their ever-expanding team. The successful candidate will need to have previous experience working within a finance function and ideally held a position focussed on Accounts Payable previously. The role will support the wider finance team in a range of duties and will consist of duties, as such, flexibility and versatility are key.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing supplier invoices.
- Supplier statement reconciliations.
- Assisting with month end
- Dealing with general supplier enquiries.
- Sending remittances.
- Ensuring approvals are in line with policies
- Processing the BAC's and payment runs
- Processing of the purchase card transactions
- Review and processing of Concur expenses
- Administrative duties
Experience and Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Excellent communication and team working skills
- Highly motivated
- Some experience in Purchase Ledger preferred
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
- High level of Numeracy and Literacy
- Good organisational skills, able to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Fluent English language skills essential.
Salary and Benefits:
The role of Accounts Assistant is paying a salary of up to £30,000 plus excellent benefits.
