Are you an experienced Paraplanner and hold a Level 4 Diploma? 

We've just taken on a rare and exciting opportunity in Bury St Edmunds with our clients who are looking to expand their team with Senior Financial Planner Support. 

This position will also see the successful individual have the opportunity to work at their other local offices. 

Working hours:

  • Monday to Friday

To be considered for the role you must have the following:

  • Diploma qualified or equivalent experience
  • Providing  accurate  and  timely  financial  services and administrative support
  • Writing suitability letters
  • Producing schedules for all clients (i.e no checking required)
  • Management of client complaints
  • Identifying areas for improvement
  • Experience of dealing with a number of high-level technical queries
  • Mandatory compliance training
  • Knowledge of pensions and investments

Key tasks will include but will not be limited to:

  • Compile accurate client review packs, handle policy analysis, and maintain clear correspondence with clients, ensuring a full audit history of information.
  • Provide proactive support to Financial Planners, attend client meetings, present relevant information
  • Mentor junior team members, delegate tasks appropriately, and assist in creating procedures for the team while escalating any concerns to the Team Leader.
  • Undertake projects to improve office efficiency, streamline processes, update documents, and manage workflow, ensuring compliance with procedures.
  • Work with platforms to manage client holdings, ensure cash weightings are checked weekly, process client instructions, and liaise with compliance for adherence to standards.
