Compass Point Recruitment is proud to be working with an outstanding client based in Bury St Edmunds, seeking an Operations Coordinator to join their team within engineering solution specialist with locations across the UK.

As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring projects run smoothly by managing and optimizing operational processes. Acting as the main point of contact for operations, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and customers to drive efficiency and success.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a strong drive to contribute to a thriving and successful business.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operational tasks such as liaising with customers, sales, design, production, operations, and transport departments to exchange information and maintain planned programme of work.
  • Facilitate the issuing to production of customers' orders to agreed timescales.
  • The operations Coordinator will work closely with the management team to optimise operational processes and workflows and ensure that the company is meeting its goals in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Advise RSM teams of any customer related problems and assist in their resolution seeing through until resolved making sure the customer is aware of the progress and are satisfied with the outcome.
  • Organising and arranging for job add ins to be issued for manufacturing, ascertain completion times to establish and inform customers of when their delivery will happen.
  • Identify and address operational problems and inefficiencies, report these to the management team and suggest solutions.
  • Participate in the development of company policies, procedures, goals, and objectives that support the company's mission and vision
  • General office administration duties.
