Bennett and Game are representing a well-established progressive multi-disciplinary Top 150 Consultancy based in Bury St Edmunds who are looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join their growing team. With over 50 years' experience, our client has gained an excellent reputation working with clients across the UK as well as Europe. You will be working predominately within the Commercial and Educational sector whilst using Revit software. They are offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000 in addition to a range of benefits including hybrid working, bonus schemes, generous annual leave, private healthcare, paid training/ progression plans and professional fees.

This is a great opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technologist to work in a modern office with a specialist team in a multi- disciplinary environment. Typically, project values fall between £2 and £10 million. The successful Senior Architectural Technologist will primarily be working on RIBA stages 4-5 for their current project demands. As a consultancy they work within a variety of sectors across all RIBA stages. They offer excellent progression plans, training opportunities and bespoke hybrid working.

Senior Architectural Technologist Overview
  • Prepare tender and construction stage drawings and specifications
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other consultants to ensure project goals are met
  • Undertake material research and specify building materials and finishes
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure that designs meet building codes and regulations
  • Contribute to the development of design proposals and presentations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest building regulations and industry best practice
Senior Architectural Technologist Requirements
  • Minimum three years' experience as an Architectural Technologist
  • The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT) or a skilled Architectural Technologist who is prepared to pursue this
  • Good knowledge with Revit
  • Knowledge of NBS would be advantageous
  • High technical standard
  • Strong construction detailing experience
  • Live within a commutable distance of Bury St Edmunds (bare in mind our clients excellent hybrid working)
