Main areas of responsibility:

  • Undertake all aspects of bookkeeping
  • Engaging in and providing support for various business advisory services to clients on site or remotely
  • Drafting personal and corporate tax returns, including supporting documentation, tax planning, and long-term wealth management strategies
  • Preparing management accounts and handling VAT returns
  • Addressing client inquiries and resolving issues
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their accounting systems, processes, and business needs to provide tailored advice and support
  • Supervising onsite or project-specific staff teams and reviewing their work
  • Assisting in the development and mentoring of junior staff members
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and efficiency
  • Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and maintain electronic records

Required Skills & Desired Experience:

  • Experienced with VAT returns
  • Part qualified / qualified with at at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Work well within a team as well as individually
  • Direct contact offering business support to clients
  • Motivated and able to work to deadlines
  • Able to work under pressure with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent time management and able to appropriately prioritise
