Our client is seeking a Sales Representative to join their successful team. They are a company dedicated to the supply of high-quality timber products to the trade, including roofing battens, fencing, landscaping, and construction products. This role is ideal for a candidate with a passion for sales and a commitment to providing exceptional service to customers in the softwood industry.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions from our extensive range of timber products.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers via phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base.
  • Provide knowledgeable advice and support to customers, ensuring they receive the best possible service and products.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure a seamless service delivery.
  • Keep up to date with product knowledge and market trends to effectively communicate with customers and peers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the timber or construction industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
