CNC Turner £36,400 - £40,000 per annumBased on the outskirts of Thetford  We are assisting with the recruitment of an experienced CNC Turner on behalf of a well-established precision engineering client located on the outskirts of Thetford. This full-time role offers a competitive salary, dependent on skills and experience.  Role Overview:This is a varied and hands-on role suited to an experienced CNC Turner that ideally has experience of programming, setting, and operating a range of machinery to deliver consistently high standards. This position also involves working closely from technical drawings, handling a mixture of metal and plastic materials, and ensuring precision and quality through each phase of production.  Key Responsibilities:
  • Program, set, and run CNC turning equipment
  • Perform occasional manual machining as required, complementing CNC work for tailored project needs.
  • Work with both plastic and metal components, adjusting techniques as needed for different material specifications.
  • Accurately work from engineering drawings to ensure that all parts meet client specifications.
  • Manage individual projects from start to finish, working to tight tolerances and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Work effectively as part of a skilled team while managing your workload independently, meeting deadlines and maintaining productivity.
 Working Hours:
  • Monday to Thursday: 8 am – 5 pm
  • Friday: 8 am – 1 pm
