Are you an experienced Site Manager ready for an exciting challenge? Join my client, a leading Tier 1 contractor, to oversee the construction of a substation for the UK Power Networks contract in Bury St Edmunds. This is part of a wider framework with potential work for up to 5 years.
Site ManagerLocation: Bury St Edmunds, Min 6 month contracts offered
Responsibilities:
- Manage on-site activities to ensure successful delivery of the substation project.
- Supervise site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Enforce health and safety protocols.
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates.
- Resolve on-site issues and liaise with stakeholders.
- Manage site documentation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in substation builds - ideally electrically biased with high voltage experience
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS card).
