We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Project Officer to help Ickworth Estate take forward the delivery of selected projects and feasibility work. These have arisen from the 10-year master plan we are currently developing. The projects and feasibility work will focus on buildings conservation and visitor infrastructure.Â
With a brand-new spatial plan and project pipeline, rapid growth in visitor numbers and an ambitious team, this is an exciting time to be contributing to Ickworth’s journey.Â
What it's like to work hereYou’ll be part of the Trust’s internal consultancy: a flexible resource of specialist skills and expertise. As one of a multidisciplinary team of experts, including curators, fundraisers, building surveyors and project managers, you’ll be working with others to help make things happen.
Your contractual location will be  Ickworth Estate, but our hybrid working policy means you can balance office and home working with site visits and meetings at other places. Being based at Ickworth, you’ll be able to appreciate and benefit from working in a stunning setting made up of the iconic Rotunda and 1,800 acres of gardens and parkland.
There is flexibility in how the working hours can be organised across the week.
