Credit ControllerSalary DOEMonday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week (Part time hours would be considered)PermanentBury St Edmunds On behalf of our client based in Bury St Edmunds, we are searching for a Credit Controller to join a company who strive to deliver only the highest quality services. The successful candidate will have previous experience within administration and credit control, and will also have a can-do, confident attitude. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Answering the telephone and dealing with enquires appropriately
  • Maintaining their own ledger and being responsible for the customer accounts within this
  • Credit checking accounts and releasing orders for customers on referral
  • Investigating and recording queries and disputes from customers and/or internal departments
  • Maintaining all relevant paperwork and accurate filing of all correspondence
  • Look to exceed all customer expectations and ensure that an excellent service is provided
  • Communicating any issues that arise
  • Chasing customers by telephone, email and letter
  • Managing the credit control inbox and directing emails to the correct departments/individuals
 Key Skills:
  • Experience in general administration office duties
  • Experience in credit control
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Organised and reliable
  • Good working knowledge of PC’s and software.
  • Numerate and literate, excellent all round communication skills
