Role Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with children and young people, particularly those with SEMH needs. You will play a vital role in supporting students' learning and emotional well-being, helping them to overcome barriers and succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEMH needs in both classroom and one-on-one settings.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Monitor and report on students' progress and development.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or child development (preferred but not essential).
