Maintenance Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical Bias)

Job Overview:

Our Client is looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical or Mechanical bias to join our team, working in a cold storage warehouse and manufacturing environment. The role involves maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing equipment such as refrigeration systems, racking, and other manufacturing machinery to ensure smooth and continuous operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on refrigeration units, racking systems, and manufacturing machinery.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring minimum downtime of equipment.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain the safety and efficiency of all warehouse and manufacturing systems.
  • Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new machinery or upgrades to existing equipment.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure all equipment meets health and safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Provide technical support for continuous improvement initiatives in the warehouse and manufacturing processes.
