My client is searching for an ambitious and passionate Architectural Technician to join a well-established team in Bury St Edmunds. The practices provide sustainable and creative designs across the residential and commercial sectors and always exceed client expectations. The friendly team have a range of exciting projects on the horizon and are looking forward to welcoming an Architectural Technician to the team.
The successful Architectural Technician will ideally have experience post qualification and will have excellent knowledge of current UK building regulations. You will be comfortable conducting planning applications and have strong technical abilities.
Skills, Responsibilities and Experience for the role of Architectural Technician:
- Relevant degree or an HNC/HND in Architectural Technology
- Sufficient experience post qualification
- Strong technical abilities
- Excellent knowledge of current UK building regulations
- Complete planning applications
- Liaise with clients to create detailed technical drawings
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient using a range of industry standard software
- Must live within a commutable distance of Bury St Edmunds
