Production Operative (Night Shift)

We are looking for reliable Production Operatives on Night Shift to join a busy team immediately at a leading local company. This role involves carefully packing products into the appropriate boxes and containers, ensuring quality standards are met, and counting packs to ensure accurate quantities.

Job Responsibilities

The role of a Production Operative will involve:

• Packing products carefully into the relevant boxes and containers
• Working within a team environment within the packing area
• Completing quality checks during the packing process
• Counting number of packs ensuring the correct quantity is packed for the customer

Person Specification

To be successful in the Production Operative role, you will need to be:

• Punctual, dependable, and able to commit to a flexible work schedule, including weekends
• Able to carefully pack products, ensuring high-quality standards are consistently maintained
• A good verbal communication in English, essential for understanding instructions and working effectively with the team
• Able to get to site with your own transport due to the location of the site, which is not easily accessible by public transport

Hours of Work and Pay

• £13.16 per hour
• Paid for 11 hours for the 12-hour shift (x3 20-minute breaks – unpaid)
• Hours of work – 18:00 to 06:00
• Operation runs for 7 days per week – flexibility across the 7 days
• Overtime and extra days available
