As Finance Manager you will be responsible for the running of the day to day finance function including management accounting, tax, year end financial statements, the external audit process and change management. Duties to include:

  • Lead, manage and develop a team of three
  • Oversee all aspects of AP, AR and payroll
  • Take key role in a new ERP system implementation
  • Lead on month end close, management accounts pack and reviews with budget holders on performance
  • Lead on production of statutory accounts and managing the external audit process
  • Cash flow management and maintenance of 18 month cash flow forecasting model
  • Produce value added MI and analysis to help SLT make decisions
  • Assist the fractional CFO with projects including continued automation, process and control improvement
  • Be the finance business partner to key stakeholders including the Managing Director and be part of the SLT and associated meetings

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience of leading a team and ideally have a broad exposure across all aspects of accounting and reporting and business partnering. You will be able to foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business and really make a difference to making decisions.This role is 5 days in the office with flexibility to move to 4 days in the office and 1 from home.The company is profitable, has a clear vision to grow and has a good family feel culture.
