Our client is a well-established financial advisory firm, founded in 1988, renowned for offering a comprehensive range of financial services. These include investment management, retirement planning, estate planning, and employee benefits advice. The company has built a strong reputation for delivering tailored financial solutions to individuals, businesses, and trusts.

Day-to-Day Duties:
  • Generate and compile documents to create accurate client review packs, ensuring all necessary checks are completed.
  • Provide timely and accurate information, liaising with providers and third parties as needed.
  • Maintain a clear audit trail for all client records, ensuring documents are correctly saved and named.
  • Keep Financial Planners and team members informed of progress, escalating any concerns or complaints as they arise.
  • Hold weekly review meetings with Financial Planners to discuss priorities and address any issues.
  • Prepare for and attend client meetings to support Financial Planners, presenting parts of the meeting as needed (2-3 times a year).
  • Conduct pre- and post-reviews, delegating tasks to team support where appropriate, ensuring meeting notes are issued promptly and actions are completed.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, enabling them to undertake tasks that benefit the team and clients.
  • Complete due diligence for all new business, following the new business checklist, and generating platform calculators to outline costs.
  • Generate template suitability letters from IO, completing the factual client and plan elements, and liaising with the Lead Support or Senior Financial Planner Support for assistance as needed.
  • Work with Financial Planners to ensure cash weightings are checked and actioned weekly.
  • Ensure IO is up to date, with opportunities added and maintained regularly and correctly.
  • Process all client instructions using the respective advice flow, checklists, and IO event lists.
  • Participate in projects and specific tasks to support your development.
What is Needed to Be Considered for this Role:
  • Experience:At least two years of administration experience in a financial planning company.
  • Qualifications:Working towards the Diploma in Financial Planning.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in using IO.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Computer literacy and data management.
    • Analytical thinking.
    • Good organizational and prioritization skills.
    • Effective time management.
    • Ability to work well in a team.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to train others.
    • Ability to raise and address issues or errors as necessary.
