Job Overview:

We are looking for a Temporary Goods-In & Stores Operative in Bury St Edmunds to assist with the receipt, storage, and organisation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving, checking, and booking in deliveries.
  • Storing and organising stock efficiently.
  • Picking and preparing orders for dispatch.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift (if licensed).
  • Keeping the warehouse and stores area clean and organised.
  • Following health and safety guidelines at all times.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or goods-in environment (preferred).
  • Counterbalance Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential).
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
