JGA we are seeking a senior payroll professional with experience processing end to end payroll, across multiple sites, or within in a client or bureau setting.
  • End-to-End Payroll Processing: Handle complete payroll processing for a range of clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • BACs Payment Processing: Manage BACs payment processing efficiently to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Client Interaction: Maintain direct contact with clients, offering clear communication and support for payroll-related inquiries.
  • Payroll Query Resolution: Resolve payroll queries promptly and effectively, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Attention to Detail: Work accurately, diligently, and methodically with excellent attention to detail.
  • Multitasking: Manage multiple priorities simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • IT Competency: Demonstrate strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office applications such as Word and Excel.
  • Payroll Knowledge: Possess a high level of understanding and practical application of all areas of end-to-end payroll, including auto-enrolment pensions, statutory payments, holiday pay legislation, minimum wage legislation, HMRC and RTI legislation, directors’ payments, and basic HR/employment law awareness.
  • Communication Skills: Exhibit clear and effective communication skills, both written (letters and emails) and oral, to interact with a wide range of internal and external contacts.
  • Problem Solving and Adaptability: Approach problem-solving positively, remaining flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances while working independently and as part of a team.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and exercise sound judgment in bringing situations to the manager's attention.
