Payroll Senior required. My client is a well-established accountancy practice based in Bury St Edmonds and are seeking a payroll senior to join the friendly and growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own client portfolio of payrolls. This opportunity would most suit a candidate with extensive payroll knowledge.
Payroll Senior Position Overview
- Manage a portfolio of payrolls for a variety of clients
- Manage all pension administration matters, including setting up pension schemes for our clients
- Be the point of contact to your clients
- Assist/support other staff members with any payroll matters
- Deal with any adhoc enquiries as and when they arise
Suitable applicants will have previous experience working in accountancy practice environment, ideally in the payroll department.
Payroll Senior Position Requirements
- Payroll processing experience (essential)
- Experience using payroll software - preferably Sage
- Knowledge of HMRC processes
- Knowledge of pension schemes and auto-enrolment processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Suitable candidates will be CIPP qualified/part-qualified.
