Our client is looking for an Asset Surveyor (Water / Wastewater) who will be focused on ensuring their water & wastewater assets are designed and installed correctly.

This role will be covering Norwich/Chelmsford/Ipswich and surrounding areas

As the Asset Surveyor your key responsibilities are

  • Deliver on all wastewater network site inspections as part of the S104 process.
  • Liaise with developer/contractor to ensure potable water assets are installed correctly.
  • Review the design for wastewater assets and provide technical support on projects.
  • Coordinate installations with incumbent, contractor and developer
  • Ensure agreed program of works for asset inspections are delivered.
  • Ensure the connection of wastewater networks align with the programme.

About you

  • Experience within the water industry to include design, installation, commissioning and operation of wastewater distribution networks.
  • Working knowledge of current legislation and technical standards
  • Can demonstrate high level of health and safety.
  • Confident in liaising with and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to your work
