Health and Safety (SHEQ) Officer-Construction or Utilities Sector

Home/Field Based covering East England-Candidate ideally located in Suffolk/NorfolK/Peterborough

£35K-43K plus vehicle/car allowance, excellent pension, progression

1 Year Fixed Term Contract with possibility of becoming permanent

Are you a SHEQ or Health and Safety officer with a NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate, looking to work for a large, national company who straddle the construction and utilities sector?

The company offer excellent benefits, job security and both career and salary progression.

The role will be covering a East England patch reporting into the companies Bury St Edmund's office. A rough split will be 3 days on sites in the East of England, 1 day in the Bury St Edmunds office and 1 day working from home.

This varied role will include training staff (including delivering training workshops), site visits, safety audits and incident investigation.

The Role

1. Full time, permanent home/field based position for a large national utilities company.
2. Varied SHEQ role to promote safe working culture and ensure compliance to SHEQ legislation
3. Role will be a combination of site visits, working from home and visits the companies office.

The Person

1. NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate
2. Experience of working in the construction and/or utilities sector
3. H&S risk management experience
4. Experience of training/coaching/presenting to staff
5. UK driving licence is essential
