As the IT Team Manager, you will have access to a wide and varied range of technologies with support from your colleagues who promote a cohesive work culture with diverse ideas.Key Responsibilities:

  • Line management of IT Team, providing support, guidance, and mentoring as required
  • Overseeing the local IT Team's workload to ensure it is well managed, prioritised, and monitored
  • Guaranteeing continuity of IT systems provision and the security of data
  • Maintaining the highest level of service, focused on keeping all elements of the IT service 100% safe, secure, compliant, and available
  • Serving as the 2nd line escalation point for 1st line IT Technicians, and the communication and escalation link to the Head Office 3rd line support
  • Collaborating with and supporting 3rd line central Engineers
  • Acting as the escalation point for service desk tickets and working with the Service Desk Manager

Key Requirements:

  • Expertise in Microsoft suite - particularly MS Office 365
  • Proven ability to implement effective, organization-sensitive changes.
  • Success in utilising project management techniques for ICT projects.
  • Strong organisational skills and innovative problem-solving.
  • Ability to prioritise, work under pressure, and develop staff.
  • Awareness and dedication to health and safety best practices.

Travel between locations will be required - all within proximity. Where possible, our client looks to deploy IT Team Managers close to their home to reduce the environmental and financial impact of travel for work.
