Transport AdministratorFull time,Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pmMildenhall£22,500 per annumPermanent An exciting opportunity has become available on a permanent basis to undertake general administration of files, sufficient monitoring of the move processes to ensure conducted in a timely manner, customer liaison, delivery and collection scheduling. Reporting to Commercial Manager and Director, our client is looking for a confident, experienced Sales Administrator to assist with but not limited to:
  • Sales quote preparations
  • Follow up and feedback collation
  • Creation of job files and input in to the Company data system
  • Checking of file documentation
  • Origin / destination Customs clearance entry
  • Monitoring of shipment progress and system updating
  • Customer liaison
  • Collection, delivery scheduling & Job sheet creation
  • Job confirmations and generation of job sheet instructions
  • Supplier rate negotiations
  • Purchase invoice authorisations
  • Sales invoicing
  • Profit & loss monitoring & calculations
Requirements:
  • Previous administrative experience required
  • Ability and initiative to implement own processes where required
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
