MECHANICAL FITTERS REQUIRED - IMMEDIATE START - COMPETITIVE SALARY - BURY ST EDMUNDS, SUFFOLK
A well-established workshop on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join their team. You'll work within a small, diverse department where you'll have the opportunity to develop new skills and tackle daily challenges. We're looking for candidates with experience in assembly and fitting, ideally within a manufacturing setting. MIG welding experience is a plus.
Please note, own transport is required due to the site location
Mechanical Fitter Duties:
- Fabricate and install parts for heavy goods vehicles
- Use hand and power tools effectively
- Weld joints and sections securely
- Perform heavy lifting and stand throughout the day
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace
Pay & Hours:
- Flexible working hours between 7am and 5pm
- Monday to Friday, 40-hour working week
- 15+ p/hour, depending on experience
