MECHANICAL FITTERS REQUIRED - IMMEDIATE START - COMPETITIVE SALARY - BURY ST EDMUNDS, SUFFOLK
Join a well-established workshop on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds as a skilled Mechanical Fitter. In this role, you'll be part of a close-knit, diverse team where you'll have the chance to enhance your skills and take on exciting daily challenges. We're seeking individuals with a strong background in assembly and fitting, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Experience with MIG welding would be a valuable bonus
Please note, own transport is required due to the site location
Mechanical Fitter Duties:
- Fabricate and install parts for heavy goods vehicles
- Use hand and power tools effectively
- Weld joints and sections securely
- Perform heavy lifting and stand throughout the day
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace
Pay & Hours:
- Flexible working hours between 7am and 5pm
- Monday to Friday, 40-hour working week
- 15+ p/hour, depending on experience
