We are looking for a Temporary Goods-In & Stores Operative in Bury St Edmunds to assist with the receipt, storage, and organisation of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving, checking, and booking in deliveries.
- Storing and organising stock efficiently.
- Picking and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift (if licensed).
- Keeping the warehouse and stores area clean and organised.
- Following health and safety guidelines at all times.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or goods-in environment (preferred).
- Counterbalance Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential).
- Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
