Job Title: Kitchen AssistantSLocation: Various roles available;Haverhill, CB9 0DUNewmarket, CB8 8PRPay rate: £11.44 per hour Days: Monday to Friday 20 hours per weekStart date: Available immediatelyLength of contract: Temporary ongoing to cover sicknessGI Group Recruitment are now recruiting for Kitchen Assistants for our Public Sector client based in Suffolk. Main duties of the Kitchen Assistant
- Display food for counter service.
- Receiving prepared meals and checking of temperatures.
- Assist serving meals.
- Layout of the dining room furniture, cleaning the dining room after use and putting furniture away.
- Cleaning/washing up of crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils etc.
- Assisting Head of Kitchen as required.
- Maintain a High standard of Hygiene at all times.
Criteria
- Basic Food Hygiene.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team player.
- Relevant experience of working in the catering trade and/or experience of working in a similar type of establishment is desirable though not essential.
- A current Enhanced DBS is preferable
