About the Role:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Senior Planner to join my client's team in Bury St Edmunds. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading planning projects, providing expert advice, and ensuring successful outcomes for a variety of residential, commercial, and rural developments. This role offers the chance to work within a dynamic, collaborative team, contributing to complex projects and strategic planning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage planning applications, appeals, and strategic projects.

Provide expert planning advice to clients across residential, commercial, and rural sectors.

Conduct planning appraisals, environmental impact assessments, and land promotions.

Engage with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients to navigate the planning process.

Manage project timelines, budgets, and client expectations effectively.

Stay informed of planning policies, regulations, and market trends to ensure best practice.
Requirements:

A degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or a related field.

MRTPI qualification or significant progress toward full membership.

Proven experience in planning consultancy, local authority, or related environment.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
