Role Overview
We are seeking a talented Landscape Designer & CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. This role blends creativity with technical precision, offering the opportunity to work on diverse projects involving landscape and waterscape designs, planning submissions, and the development of construction-ready details.

 

Key Responsibilities

Acquire OS mapping and LIDAR data to prepare detailed land surveys.

Develop CAD drawings and Civil 3D models in collaboration with Project Managers.

Provide accurate quantitative information based on designs.

Create construction-stage details and contribute to refining company standard details.

Prepare planning and permitting documentation, including drawings and necessary reports.

Collaborate with consultants (ecology, archaeology, hydrology, and structural engineers) to ensure compliance with requirements.

Navigate the permitting process and facilitate approvals for projects.

Assist in creating tender applications and tender pack documentation.

Support the design and manufacture of water control features, including generating CNC-ready CAD files for our workshop.

 

Essential Skills & Attributes

Proficiency in CAD software with strong technical drawing skills.

Interest in landscape and waterscape construction and installation techniques.

Knowledge or experience in Planning & permission, Council or Environment Agency permitting, Environmental Management, Hydrology, Geomorphologist, Ecology, Biodiversity Net Gain or Nutrient Neutrality would be a distinct advantage

Full UK Driving Licence
