- Assisting senior associates and partners on cases, while managing own matters under supervision
- Delivering high-quality, commercial advice to businesses and individuals
- Handling a mixed caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment work
- Reviewing and drafting employment contracts, service agreements, settlement agreements, and policies and procedures
- Assisting on Employment Tribunal cases, including drafting ET1s, ET3s, List of Issues, and correspondence with the Tribunal
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Strong academic background, with a minimum 2:1 degree classification
- Supporting corporate transactions, including TUPE
- Advising on and enforcing post-termination restrictions
- Experience advising clients from various sectors
- Business development, including networking
- Presentation skills
- Ability to manage own caseload and assist others in the Employment team
- Financial housekeeping
- Conduct client meetings both in person and remotely
- Assess legal issues, conduct research, and provide cost and scope advice
- Draft documents and letters of advice
