Position Overview
Working one-to-one with a conveyancing lawyer, the Conveyancing Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the residential conveyancing team by providing comprehensive administrative and paralegal assistance. This position is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the department and delivering exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare documents and maintain accurate records and databases
  • Handle routine matters and liaise with clients and third parties
  • Provide high levels of client service and manage files efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and office procedures
  • Receive new enquiries, open files, and conduct compliance checks
  • Draft contracts, prepare mortgage deeds, and close files as required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' current experience in residential conveyancing
  • Previous experience in a legal office or customer service environment
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
