Your new companyA new opportunity for a business with manufacturing plants across the UK and Europe who are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join the team at their site near Bury St Edmunds. With over 2000 employees and who currently produce over 8 million tonnes of feed per year, this is a great time to join this market-leading business.Your new roleYou will join a highly skilled Engineering Team working on a shift pattern of earlies and lates, 12-hour shifts, 6am to 6pm days or 10am - 10pm lates. You will ensure the plant is well maintained by carrying out regular PPM and reacting to any breakdowns, ensuring the plant is back online as soon as possible.Working with site plan to manage any long-term repairs and ensure short-term fixes in place to meet production demands, ensuring all work complies with Electricity at work regulations to meet safety standards. There will be regular maintenance on boilers, pressure systems including steam, condensate and air, and you will ensure all works carried out are recorded in daily maintenance log and on the Assets Master System.
