Your new roleThis is a new and exciting Administration Assistant role. This varied role involves working to support the Office Administrator to ensure the smooth running of the office. My client is looking for someone who is committed to ensuring the core support functions of our office run efficiently, and who is at ease in liaising with a wide variety of clients, visitors and staff - both in person and via telephone. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a team environment and have a flexible approach to their work. Duties include but not limited to:

  • Reception duties include greeting visitors, serving refreshments for client meetings.
  • Dealing with incoming/outgoing post, call handling, receiving deliveries and scanning documents.
  • Monitoring general office supplies and re-ordering items as necessary.
  • System updates on client contacts database.
  • Preparing client forms including electronic verification.
  • Preparing engagement letters.
  • Binding of hard copy documents, photocopying.
  • Supporting with organising group events.

What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this job you will require:

* Recent experience of working in an office environment (minimum 2 years) to include 'front of house' reception work.* Competent administrative skills include proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.* Work experience in the professional services sector would be preferred, but is not essential.* Exceptional time management and organisational skills.* Capable of multitasking, working on your own initiative and being proactive.* Ability to exercise complete discretion and confidentiality.* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and an awareness of GDPR and its application in the workplace

What you'll get in returnIn return, you will be offered a great package including a salary of £22,500 to £24,000 depending on your experience. You will be joining a collaborative team, working Monday to Friday, 100% office based with on-site parking.
