Our client is a firm of Chartered Accountants with five existing locations in Suffolk & Cambridgeshire. Therefore, the team of 25 are part of a large regional firm.

This varied role involves working to support the Office Administrator to ensure the smooth running of the office. Our client is looking for someone who is committed to ensure the core support functions of our office run efficiently, and who is at ease in liaising with a wide variety of clients, visitors and staff - both in person and via telephone. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a team environment and have a flexible approach to their work.

?Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • General office administration: reception duties including greeting visitors, serving refreshments for client meetings, dealing with incoming/outgoing post, call handling, receiving deliveries and scanning documents.
  • Monitoring general office supplies and re-ordering items as necessary.
  • Client administration: system updates on client contacts database, preparing client create forms including electronic verification, preparing Engagement letters, completing ongoing Anti-Money Laundering review paperwork, bank letters, authority letters and solicitor letters, dealing with client satisfaction reviews, Companies House filings, and conducting Land Registry searches
  • Ad hoc tasks: Binding of hard copy documents, photocopying, organising group events, support with mailshots, and making accommodation/travel bookings on behalf of team members

?Essential Skills and experience:

  • Recent experience of working in an office environment (minimum 2 years) to include 'front of house' reception work
  • Competent administrative skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Work experience in the ?professional services sector would be preferred, but is not essential
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

The package includes:

  • Core holiday allowance is 23 days, option to salary sacrifice to buy up to 5 additional days per year.
