Job Overview:

Our client, UK Power Networks, is undergoing a restructure and expanding their team. We are currently seeking two highly organized and customer-focused Property and Consents Customer Service Administrators to join the team in Bury St Edmunds. This is a varied and dynamic role that will involve handling a wide range of enquiries and ensuring they are directed to the correct departments within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling Enquiries: Manage and respond to a diverse array of incoming enquiries, ensuring they are routed to the appropriate teams or departments.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service over the phone, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.
  • Administrative Support: Offer general administrative support across the property and consents teams, including document management and data entry.
  • Problem Solving: Use initiative and problem-solving skills to manage enquiries that may not be straightforward, requiring a proactive approach to find the right solution.
  • Liaison: Work closely with internal teams across the business to ensure enquiries are handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Participate in a comprehensive training program lasting approximately 3 months to become familiar with all aspects of the role.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a customer service, call centre, office, or administrative role is essential. Experience within utilities or legal consents would be highly advantageous.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to think outside the box and navigate through the business effectively.
  • Flexibility: Ability to manage a varied workload and adapt to changing priorities.
  • IT Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Working Arrangements:

This role offers a blended working arrangement with initial on-site training. Following the training period, you will continue to work on-site with the possibility of some flexibility in working arrangements as you become more established in the role.
