Our client is currently looking for an addition to their workshop by employing an assembly operator within a temporary to permanent assignment.
Main duties will include
Checking that items are fully assembled
Ensuring safety protocols are followed on the assembly line
Troubleshooting any issues found during production
Reading and deciphering schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions
Positioning or aligning components and parts
Using hand tools or machines to assemble parts
Conducting quality control checks
Cleaning and maintaining work area and equipment
Operating and maintaining automated machinery used to assemble parts, components, and products
Candidate attributes
? Mechanical aptitude and dexterity using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment
? Ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
? Knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes
? Attention to detail and accuracy
? Teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues
? Familiarity with workplace safety protocols
