The position involves a 12-hour shift pattern, including both day and night shifts, with overtime available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate two flour mills in a 24/7 production environment.
- Monitor and adjust cleaning and mill processing equipment.
- Ensure the production of high-quality flour within specified standards.
- Continuously work to increase mill capacity and optimize yield performance.
- Comply with all food safety regulations and relevant programs (e.g., HACCP), while maintaining necessary documentation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Assist the maintenance department with preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Complete various shift production and food safety reports.
- Load flour tankers as required.
- Collaborate with other departments as needed.
- Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Willingness to work 12-hour shift patterns, including nights and days.
- Valid driving license and access to a vehicle are essential.
- Previous experience in a similar setting is beneficial, but training will be provided.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety protocols.
- Good physical fitness is required for this role.
