As a Trainee HGV Fitter, you will be provided with the training and support to develop your skills in maintaining and repairing Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs). You'll work alongside experienced professionals who will guide you in mastering the essential skills required in this dynamic role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the maintenance and repair of HGVs
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Supporting senior technicians with repairs and servicing tasks
- Ensuring all work meets company and industry standards
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
What We're Looking For:
- A passion for working with vehicles, particularly HGVs
- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience (ideal, but not essential)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
