Yard Forman is role is crucial for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the workshop and yard areas, ensuring all equipment is ready and pristine for customer use. You will also be responsible for the delivery and collection of hire equipment, providing demonstrations at customer sites, and completing necessary hire checks and administration.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workshop and yard areas, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored correctly.
  • Ensure all equipment leaving the depot is pressure cleaned and prepared for customer use.
  • Load, deliver, and collect hire equipment to and from customer sites in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct equipment demonstrations on customer sites when required.
  • Complete all relevant checks and administrative tasks associated with equipment hire.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in a similar role involving equipment handling and customer service.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
  • Strong communication and demonstration skills.
  • Proficient in completing necessary checks and administrative tasks.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
