I am delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded regional accountancy firm seeking to recruit a Payroll Senior or Assistant Manager to their Bury St Edmunds office in a varied role working within a small team running multiple payrolls for a wide range of clients who operate in sectors such as retail, the professions, charities, technology and agriculture and offering primary responsibility for end-to-end payroll processing for a number of clients.

Key responsibilities will include:

• End to end payroll processing for a range of clients

• BACs payment processing

• Direct client contact

• Payroll query resolution

• Deadline management

• Assisting & supervising junior staff (Assistant Manager only)

The successful candidate will possess previous significant payroll administration experience and knowledge of payroll processing and be competent in the use of IT, especially MS Office (Word, Excel).
