Position: Admin Officer
Location: Bury St Edmunds HMCTS
Hours: Monday to Friday, between 9am - 5pm
Pay Rate: 12.21 Per Hour

Are you looking for an exciting career opportunity in the public sector? Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Administrator to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis. This role is fully office-based, offering a great opportunity to contribute to the important work within HMCTS.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • General administrative duties, including clerical support and managing emails and correspondence via Outlook

  • Data entry and maintaining accurate records

  • Managing the movement of applications and various forms of correspondence within the business area

  • Using internal computer systems for case management and record keeping

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls, addressing queries and providing support where needed

  • Processing payments over the phone

  • Sorting and opening post

  • Carrying case files between different floors within the building

What We Look For:

  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel

  • Strong experience in data entry and clerical tasks

  • Ability to handle confidential information with attention to detail

  • Comfortable working with internal computer systems and adapting to new software
