TimePlan Education is seeking an Entry Level SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team working within a fantastic Secondary School based in Bury St Edmunds
As an Entry Level SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting students with their daily routines and activities at the college. Working on a 1:1 basis as well as within small groups. Working in a SEND capacity as part of the schools SEND provision you will be working with students with additional needs, this role may also involve aspects of personal care so previous experience would be an advantage.
You will work in a collaborative environment to provide quality care and instruction to students.
This is a full time ongoing role and may lead to a permanent post for the right candidate.

We are looking for candidates with some experience of working with school or college aged pupils although this does not have to be within a formal setting. Candidates from Youth Groups, Scouts, Sports Coaches and Drama Clubs would all be suitable for these roles. Some experience of working with SEND is essential for this role.
This is an entry level position that can develop into a permanent position for the right candidates
