Essential background would be Engineering in food or FMCG.
More information on the role:
- Leading major capital expenditure projects in multiple functions.
- Working closely with Site Leads, Engineering management team and all external PM contacts.
- Full management of projects from start to finish ensuring timescales and budgets are managed effectively.
- Delivering mechanical engineering, production, H&S improvements.
- Taking a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Communicating across all locations with clarity in both verbal and written form.
- Be seen as a key part of the site team, contributing to the overall efficiency of the operation.
- Quality is paramount to this business so embedding this into every project and your day-to-day practice is essential.
- Drawing on previous project management skills, able to give detailed updates to the SLT and updates as and when required on the timescales and finances.
What we're looking for:
- Project management background in food or FMCG manufacturing.
- Engineering background in one of the above sectors.
- A problem solver, able to think around problems and devise cost effective and efficient solutions.
- Communicating effectively with teams in all disciplines at every level so there is absolute clarity across all projects.
- Organised and detail oriented.
- Solid understanding of CMMS's, familiarity with Excel and Microsoft Project.
- The agility to flex and work around the issues that always come up in manufacturing.
- Able to work autonomously, confident to make informed decisions.
