My Client is looking for a Controls Engineer with experience in designing manufacturing engineering systems.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer with strong electrical bias to start a career within a well known organization, and have a fresh start in 2025!
Responsibilities
- Detailed design of control/electrical systems including selection of equipment, generation of schematics, cable schedules & electrical calculations.
- Electrical control panel layout / design.
- AutoCAD and Possibly Solid Works as a design/drafting tool.
- Selection and configuration of process instrumentation, sensors, weighing systems etc.
- Development and Programming various manufacturers PLC's, HMI's and SCADA.
- Produce project related documentation using various IT package including Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.
- Direct involvement in control panel design, build and testing.
- On-site commissioning of Electrical, Control and Instrumentation systems
- Involvement in the budgeting and estimation process
- Assist in the CE Marking assessment using Laidler/Sistema Software and produce supporting documentation.
- Functional Safety system design to include interlocks / guarding / trip systems
- Design of systems compliant with ATEX Regulations - COMPEX certified
