Field Service Engineer | Covering Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex & Cambridge | Working Hours: 8:30am- 5:00pm | Up to £35,000 with overtime paid at double time for call-outs

In this role, you will deliver exceptional service to customers, ensuring all systems are operating smoothly and efficiently.

Call out rota

  • Weekday Evening: 1 weekday evening (5:00 PM - 9:00 AM next day)
  • Weekend Days: 3 weekend days per month (1 Friday, 1 Saturday, 1 Sunday), with 1 weekend off per month

Are you the right person for the job?

  • At least 3 years experience
  • Experience working with small tools is essential
  • Qualifications within security and fire would be desirable
  • Full driving licence required a small number of points will be accepted
  • DBS check carried out prior to the employment offer

What will your role look like?

Carry out fault finding and some new installation on customers' equipment, including:

  • Senior call systems
  • Nurse call
  • CCTV Fire alarms
  • Auto doors
  • Smoke Vent
  • Intruder alarms
  • Door entry and Access control

Previous experience with the above systems is beneficial

What can you expect in return?

  • 20 Days annual leave plus all bank holiday

  • Company van is supplied with a fuel card
  • Hand tools are supplied, with the option to use your own (replaced by the company if preferred)
  • Mobile phone is supplied, with the option to use your own (monthly contract paid by the company)
  • Tablet will be provided for work use
  • Vehicles can be kept at your address in a safe place, with power tools removed at night. A maintenance checklist of vehicles must be sent to the office every 4 weeks
  • Up to 200 personal miles per month are allowed
  • You will receive support and training as needed to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques
