We are recruiting an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer for our client in Bury St Edmunds.

Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:

  • Execute scheduled maintenance tasks on all machinery on site.
  • Address reactive maintenance promptly to reduce downtime.
  • Perform electrical fault finding and testing.
  • Work closely with the production team to maintain safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Keep high standards in all work areas.

Experience needed for the Maintenance Engineer position:

  • A multi-skilled engineer with a focus on electrical systems.
  • Experience in a proactive engineering role within a maintenance environment.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., 18th Edition, City and Guilds 2360/2330, 2382).
  • Familiarity with electrical energy technology, PLC, and SCADA systems.
  • Welding and fabrication experience.
  • Background in using CMMS systems.
  • Counter-balance FLT license.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team, including shifts and on-call duties.
